This news section is devoted to George.

George is a man who hangs around the shops in my locality telling grand tales and boasts. Such as - "Have you ever been to Cyprus? My Dad discovered Cyprus" and "Now I'm not saying that I'm the world's greatest singer but I am in the top 20".

Everyone should have a George in their life, he is like a ray of sunshine. I once bumped into him when I was walking my grandson William to the shops. George kept William entertained for a good 20 minutes or so. At one stage he looked at William and said "Listen kid. Don't look at me, look at the floor. See that shadow on the floor? That's my soul. Do you know what a soul is? No, me neither but I'm going to make the bugger dance". And he then danced like a maniac for 5 minutes solid, waving his arms and long gangly legs to make a beautiful shadow puppet dance. William later drew a nice picture of George dancing (above).
